Company Alumni
Some of our long-standing company members, turned professionals.
We're extremely proud of all of them! This is just a handful of the many incredible students we've had over the years that have truly utilised their training and
continued to flourish outside of the company.

"I am 24 years old, I started training at Marshon when it was first established in 2016. I was 15 at the time. Without it, I don’t know what would’ve driven me to where I am today. Being from Birmingham, in my opinion the best quality training available was with Marshon. Having that one day a week every Saturday was so special as it was all I had that fulfilled my love for dance.
Marshon was and is such safe space for the Birmingham community and even though I am not there anymore, as life has taken me to its next chapters, I am so grateful for Marshon. It is a family, it’s more than just dance , it’s hard for me to put into words really but I had the best time being there and it allowed me to be the dancer I am today.
I also have some amazing friendships today that blossomed from Marshon. I love everyone’s unique styles, they’re all so different from each other due to the foundation training that Marshon provides. This allows the dancers to interpret/explore their own style and unique way of movement. If it wasn’t for the foundation training that Marshon provided, I wouldn't dance the way I do now."

"Marshon is where it started for me. In my hometown I started to train with a family of others towards something incredible. It now still functions as my home that I will always be grateful for. Issa family ting."

"Marshon is a family. This family has been a huge part of my life as well as my journey as a performer. Growing up, it was a space that made me feel free to express my feelings through movement. Marshon challenged me to better my artistry in order to achieve my profession but it also reminded me that dance is a fun way to express and connect with others.
Alongside the undeniable training and community, Marshon has given me multiple Job experiences and opportunities. Through Nathan, I gained the courage to audition for the global community known as RICHFAM. After being successful in my audition, at 17 years old I flew to Spain to join their show for a few months.. Through Melody, I had the opportunity to work with Six the Musical which was one of the reasons why I then went on to study musical theatre at the Wilkes Academy in 2020.
Nathan constantly inspires me and has always supported me, without him I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. I’ll always be thankful for Marshon and everything that it gave to me."
